Welcome to the DIY Bride!

Welcome to the DIY Bride!

Welcome to the first blog post of The DIY Bride!

As I'm planning my own wedding, I've been searching for ways to make the event a more personalized, customized, hands-on experience. I love DIY! I love making things for my friends, learning new skills, and every time I would search for what I wanted for my own wedding, I struggled to find it in a design I liked.

After giving up and deciding to make my own wedding invitation design, I couldn't stop there. I wanted everything for my wedding to match. From there I designed water bottle labels, lip balm labels for my own custom lip balm, recovery kits, signs, and more. I realized that what was lacking in the wedding market was the ability to make things feel custom. It was easy to find some tutorials on how to etch my champagne flutes with my custom design, or how to paint acrylic blanks and add Cricut texts to them, but it wasn't easy to find everything else to match.

And that's how The DIY Bride was born! Today's brides are looking for ways to cut costs, make their weddings more personal and intimate, and don't want to sacrifice quality or aesthetics. And they shouldn't have to. My goal with this store and this blog is to highlight ways today's brides can create the wedding of their dreams, no matter their budget. DIY isn't always about what's less expensive, sometimes it's about what's more personal. Not into DIY but still want a customized experience? We can help with that too! We source and design many of our own products. From cozy sweatshirts to custom mugs, welcome bags to tumblers, we want every bride to find items that fit their themes and budget.

Check back often as we add more blog posts containing tutorials and great tips and tricks! And thanks for joining The DIY Bride circle.
